Honoring Car Talk

My daughter was about 3 years old when we would drive across town on Saturday mornings and listen to Car Talk. I laughed and she enjoyed the fact that it seemed fun even if she didn’t understand it. She is finishing her second year of medical school now and has all of the podcasts so that she can listen to them to relax, laugh, (and) pass the time on road trips. We mourned when Tom Magliozzi died and are grateful still for the joy that he and his brother have left behind for us! I was in Boston for work last year and made sure that I walked to Ray’s Garage and got a picture with me in front to send to my daughter. It is quite something when I think about the journey we’ve had, completely unintended, with Car Talk and the Magliozzi brothers. I am happy to support you.

Car Talk is a radio talk show broadcast weekly on NPR stations throughout the Country.  Hosted by brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi, the show features advice on automobiles and auto repair.  Today the show remains a popular syndication across the country.  Jeanette Foster is a faithful fan and supporter who recently donated her 1996 Nissan Altima to Car Talk affiliate WCBE in honor of the years of great memories she and her daughter Hallie have of listening to the show together.
