Whether you’re new to purchasing vehicles through ARS or looking to maximize the tools and benefits available to you, this page is designed to provide clear, straightforward answers to the questions we hear most often from our buyer network. From understanding what types of vehicles you’ll see in mBid® to getting started with your Buyer Profile, exploring the ARS Affiliate Program, or navigating payments and pickups, you’ll find everything you need to buy confidently and efficiently. ARS is able to provide access to vehicles from every ARS program including: direct consumer sales, donations, finance and insurance carriers, and fleet programs. Units include cars, trucks, SUV’s, motorcycles, work vans, bobtails, semi-trailers and much more.

No. When you sign up with ARS, you will receive automatic “Bid Opportunity” emails when a vehicle within your criteria and mile radius is posted live to mBid. You can set up text notifications, if preferred. The listings are also available in your mBid Console.

When you’re ready to start bidding on vehicles in your area, reach out to the ARS Success Team. They will get your Buyer Profile set up in the mBid console. Contact the Success Team at 1-877-709-2277, option 2.

Go to the mBid login page on our website. Enter your Username (which is typically in an email format) and Password. Click “Forgot Password” to reset your login credentials.

Proxy Bidding allows the system to automatically bid for you up to a maximum amount of your specified set price. Contact our Success Team for more information (1-877-709-2277, option 2). 

Fees are based on the service each vehicle comes through:

For You Call We Haul vehicles: $20 flat buyer fee for all vehicles (discounts available for Affiliate Partners)

For Car Donation Wizard vehicles, buyer fees are based on bid amounts:

$1–$499: $25
$500–$999: $50
$1,000–$2,500: $80
$2,501–$5,000: $100
$5,000+: $200 + 1%

For SHiFT vehicles: $0 buyer fee

Checks: Payable to Advanced Remarketing Services, Inc. (list the stock number(s)).

Pay By Phone by Credit/Debit Card: Call 877-709-2277 (do not email credit card information).

ACH or Wire Transfer: Email accounting@arscars.com to request information.

Auto Pay: A credit/debit card option (charges a 2–3% fee) that can process payment as soon as your pickup date is entered.

Once awarded a unit, a Pickup Order is available in the mBid console and emailed to you with the contact party’s information. Buyers will contact and schedule pickup, then update the order in the mBid console.

Buyers are expected to communicate with the vehicle owner within 2 days of an assignment being placed.

All Buyer are expected to tow the vehicles to their place of business.

The ARS Affiliate Program is a tiered benefit program for buyers. 

• Tier 1: Affiliate Page – On our website
• Tier 2: Affiliate Plugin – On your website

Through both offerings, buyers are able to increase vehicle volume. The Affiliate Program is free and buyers can opt out at any time.

 Affiliate Partner buyers receiving many benefits including:

• First access to vehicles in your area
• Reduced buyer fees
• Additional funnels for leads
• Reduced time/effort with operational tasks – follow ups, phone calls, emails, titlework, etc.
• SEO boost and increased brand visibility

The Affiliate Page is an online website listing where vehicle owners can find your business and submit their vehicles directly to you for your bids. The page includes a personalized vehicle intake form – promoting your business and ensuring you get first access to any vehicles submitted.

Currently, the Affiliate Page is only available on our You Call We Haul website.

The ARS Affiliate Plugin is a free WordPress feature and offers your choice of 3 different live links that can live on your business website:

• Sell Your Car – vehicles go through You Call We Haul
• Donate Your Car – vehicles go through Car Donation Wizard
• Recycle Your Car – vehicles go through SHiFT®

Through all three, leads are funneled directly to you – giving you first access to bid on them, and the plugin helps elevate your overall website SEO.

Yes, you can choose to have one, two, or all three links live on your website depending upon your vehicle appetite. You can toggle these features on and off as you need!

No, we can help you install the plugin on most website hosting platforms. Reach out to our Success Team to learn more.

You are able to control what types of vehicles you see through your mBid console. If a vehicle doesn’t fit your Buyer Profile parameters, we won’t bother you with it.

No, you have the freedom to choose which units you want, and you are not penalized for passing on a vehicle.

No, any buyer that signs up with our mBid platform will have access to vehicles regardless of their Affiliate Partnership status.
