Position Summary:

The Social Media Content Internship will support the creation of engaging multimedia content for ARS and its brands across 5 different social media channels. This role blends graphic design, content writing, and video production, giving you the chance to work on projects that range from Reels to LinkedIn articles. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to produce content that educates audiences, highlights nonprofit partners, and inspires sustainable actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Canva to create images and graphics for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Brainstorm, script, and produce short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Assist with maintaining consistent brand identities across platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align creative assets with campaign goals.
  • Support scheduling, posting, and performance tracking of digital content through Statusbrew.

Learning Outcomes / Skills Gained:

  • Understanding of social media content strategies and platform-specific best practices for B2B and D2C audiences.
  • Practical experience with video production and editing tools (Canva, Edits, Splice, YouTube Studio, TikTok Studio)
  • Exposure to digital tools and visual branding.
  • Portfolio-ready content pieces.
  • Skills in creative collaboration, project management, and storytelling.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a marketing, communications, design, film/media, or related program (undergrad or graduate level)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms & video editing tools
  • Strong creative eye and attention to detail
  • Interest in sustainability, nonprofit work, and digital storytelling
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

  • Semester-long internship (with possibility to carry-over)
  • Approx. 15 hours per week (will adjust around student schedule)

Position Summary:

The Remarketing Data Analyst Internship will assist with a high-impact Business Intelligence project designed to evaluate and optimize our vehicle sales strategy. By analyzing multiple sales channels, you will directly influence how our Remarketing Department makes routing decisions, ensuring we maximize our return on every vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate, clean, and structure sales data from multiple internal channels to ensure accuracy for financial analysis.
  • Design and execute a pilot analysis on a localized market to establish and refine baseline analytical models.
  • Scale the analytical model across broader geographic regions to evaluate sales channel performance and identify regional pricing trends.
  • Assess the financial outcomes of historical routing decisions by comparing gross and net revenue across different disposition channels.
  • Develop structured reports that highlight geographic trends, market behavior, and pricing discrepancies for specific auction locations.
  • Deliver a comprehensive final project report to department leadership summarizing data trends and operational insights.

Learning Outcomes / Skills Gained:

  • Applied Data Analysis: Practical experience extracting, cleaning, and structuring complex datasets for business use.
  • Financial & Operational Modeling: Ability to apply financial principles (gross vs. net revenue, variance analysis) to evaluate operational processes and strategy.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Experience designing a localized pilot study and successfully scaling the methodology to a multi-region analysis.
  • Executive Reporting: Development of professional communication skills, specifically translating raw data into clear, objective insights for management.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related program.
  • Knowledge and experience building formulas with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately segment and analyze data geographically and systematically
  • Basic understanding of financial terminology, specifically the difference between gross sales, net sales, and associated operational costs.
  • Prior experience with data visualization tools or SQL is advantageous but not strictly required
