1936 Ford Model 68

The Ford Model 68 featured some very modern elements for a classic car. This particular classic car is a Tudor, cleverly named for the number of doors. This was the most popular body style Ford produced in 1936, with over 200,000 vehicles made.

The front end was restyled from the earlier 1935 model and featured a graceful grill with vertical bars. Under the hood, alongside the 221 cubic-inch flat-head V-8 engine, was the car horn! In prior models, car horns would be visible and surely louder! This stylish solution certainly helped both driver and pedestrians alike.

1936 was quite the year for Ford, as they assembled their 26 millionth automobile!
