1937 Dodge Sedan L6

We recently received this gorgeous 1937 Dodge Sedan L6 as a donation to benefit Habitat for Humanity, Silicon Valley.

Dodge Wind Stream Design

She’s a beautiful car born in a tumultuous time in history.  Her round body and curved edges seems to contradict the sharp, jarring events of the 1930’s…the great depression, overseas conflicts, events foreshadowing World War II.  Perhaps its so-called “Wind Stream” design was an intentional focus away from the tensions being felt throughout the US and world.  Even today it’s easy on the eyes and easy to imagine how stunning she was in her glory days.

This 78 year old antique has certainly weathered the test of time, but still runs and has many valuable attributes.  She’s getting ready for her next good home where she will hopefully reclaim her history and shine even more magnificently than she originally did.
