John Lyons, Vice President

John began his career in the insurance salvage auction business in 1976 after joining the family business, Auto Placement Center. John served various roles with A.P.C, including Sr. Executive Vice President of auction operations, responsible for 8 branch locations and managing the company's fleet, transportation, real estate and permitting divisions. In 2001 A.P.C. was acquired by Adesa Auto Auctions. John continued with Adesa Impact managing fleet, transportation, facility construction, licensing, compliance and permitting. In 2007, John, along with other investors, acquired ComSearch Inc. ComSearch operates a national automotive used parts locator, as well as claims auditing and desk review services for the insurance industry. In the same year, Adesa Impact was acquired by Insurance Auto Auctions. John stayed on with I.A.A. until 2009. In 2009, John joined Advanced Remarketing Services and is part of the senior management team. John brings 33 years of experience from the insurance auto salvage auction industries, enhancing A.R.S's services to the insurance, automotive recycling and not for profit industries. John attended Roger Williams College and is a member of the Elk's foundation. He enjoys family activities, collecting classic cars, boating and dirt biking.
